SEE has sponsored many outstanding projects throughout our 13 years in existence that have moved on to either
form their own independent entity or the mission of the project was achieved.  Below are just a few of the projects
that SEE was proud to have been affiliated with in their beginning phases...
SEE Alumni
Creating Economic Opportunities for Women
CEO Women's mission is to assist low-income Asian and immigrant women in
creating and optimizing economic opportunities for themselves through
micro-enterprise business training and asset development education programs.

CEO Women was granted their own 501c3 status in fall of 2004, they were a project of
SEE from October 2001.

Co-Abode
Co-Abode is a web-based organization that provides a central one-stop resource
program for single mothers to enhance their economic opportunities.  The principle
behind this organization is that two moms raising children together can achieve more
than one struggling alone. The service provided invites single mothers in
neighborhoods across the country to share expenses, child rearing and their lives.

Co-Abode was granted their non-profit status in January of 2005.  They were a project
under SEE's sponsorship for 3 years.

Grizzly People
Grizzly People is a grassroots organization devoted to preserving bears and their
wilderness habitat.  Our goal is to elevate the grizzly to the kindred state of the whale
and dolphin through supportive education in the hopes that humans will learn to live in
peace with the bear, wilderness and fellow humans.

Grizzly People was established as a SEE project in 1998 and became an independent
501c3 organization in fall of 2004.

Independent Media Center
IMC has produced the documentary, Unprecedented - The 2000 Presidential Election,
an expose on the battle for presidency in Florida and the undermining of American
democracy.

IMC joined SEE in 2001 and used its time under our sponsorship to produce and
release the documentary worldwide.

Much Love Animal Rescue
Much Love plays a vital role in the movement to end pet overpopulation by spaying and
neutering hundreds of unwanted animals and placing them in loving homes.  A
secondary goal is to secure no-kill facilities  where rescued pets can be safely
sheltered without the threat of euthanization.

Much Love Animal Rescue began its work in 2000 as a project of SEE and was granted
their own non-profit status shortly thereafter.

Public Interest Pictures
The mission of PIP is to produce socially active documentaries that will educate and
enlighten the American people, hoping they will be inspired to organize with other
like-minded concerned citizens to make positive social change.  The film
Unconstitutional, a work by PIP, documented the shocking way that civil liberties have
been violated following September 11th.

Public Interest Pictures joined SEE in January 2003 to use their duration under SEE
sponsorship to produce
Unconstitutional.

Truthout
Truthout was started in the aftermath of the 2000 presidential election hoping to reach
a few people, have some small impact on the dialog, and maybe try to restore a little
integrity.  Truthout.org is now visited more than 4 million times per month by readers
seeking the straight story and wanting to be involved in building a better tomorrow.  TO
is 100% reader supported with no corporate sponsors, no advertising, and no pop-ups.

Truthout began as a SEE project in 2000 and then grew to become their own
independent entity in 2003.

White Oak Farm & Education Center
White Oak Farm is dedicated to cultivating connections between people and their local
ecosystems by pursuing community food security, fostering agricultural and ecological
diversity, and teaching the arts of sustainable living.

WOF became an independent non-profit organization in 2003 after establishing
themselves as a SEE project just one year prior.
